This three-day event, occurring on June 7 and 28, features leisurely strolls that traverse a mix of trails and sidewalks, exploring local nature habitats, identifying plants and critters, and showcasing the city’s iconic hills and waterfront.
Participants can join for one, two, or all three walks, covering approximately 5 miles each day, with an elevation gain of 600-700 feet. You’ll begin your adventure at West Portal Station, conveniently accessible via the K, L, M lines and multiple bus routes, before concluding at Duboce Park.
As you walk, remember to bring layers, water, and snacks to sustain your energy. While restrooms are available at the starting point and finish, facilities may be limited along the route. Finish off your day with optional no-host refreshments at a nearby watering hole.
This event is co-sponsored by [Nature in the City](https://natureinthecity.org/) and is part of the **Crosstown Trail’s 6th Anniversary**, offering plenty of guided walks and events throughout June. Be sure to register early as spots fill quickly!
